If you’ve been following the last week of Microsoft news recently, you might have noticed that the company’s new Surface devices sport some impressive new wallpapers themed towards natural landscapes. We’ve already have shown you where you can download them all, but someone else has taken things a bit further, blending the Surface Pro X wallpaper with Windows XP’s classic “Bliss” wallpaper.

As seen in the first slider image below, Redditor Castetorch worked some graphic design magic and switched out the usual orange-colored landscape from the Surface Pro X wallpaper: He instead added some touches of green, switched around the cloud, and mountain top to replicate the classic Windows XP wallpaper which many have come to love. You can compare the various wallpapers by going through our sliders.

It’s a really visually impressive scene, but Castletorch also has switched things up and created variants for different seasons. Some other variations of the Surface Pro X wallpaper include one with a stormy sky, one with a dark sky, and another one themed for the fall. These can all be found here.

What do you think of this wallpaper? Does it bring back memories? Feel free to let us know in the comments below.
