Windows 11 introduced ‘Focus’ as a new feature to help minimize distractions. Integrated with the Clock app, it brought in a focus timer and music integration, aimed at enhancing productivity.

  1. If you’re looking to disable it, I’m assuming you have it running already. So you can either pause or simply click the X button:

  2. However, if you’re looking to completely remove it or for this feature to bother you less, do this:

Open the Settings application by pressing Windows + I, navigate to System > Focus Assist, and then scroll down to disable or configure the automatic rules to prevent Focus Assist from turning on again.

This should be enough to disable the Focus mode in Windows 11. As usual, Windows 11 gets updated quite often, so some of these steps might change in time.
