Plex, the media streaming service that allows you to play movies, TV, and music to any device, is launching a new Universal Windows 10 app soon, and the open beta is available right now. While the service already has a Universal Windows 10 app that’s up on PC, Mobile, and Xbox One, this will be an app that is “specifically built for Windows 10,” ideally sporting a much better client that can better get the job done for Windows 10 users.
You can sign up for the beta right here using your Plex email address and your Windows Store account without much fuss, and once you’re set up you can log into the client on PC to start reporting bugs. Unfortunately, the UWP beta is only available for Windows 10 PCs right now – we don’t know anything about the status of the Plex beta coming to Xbox One, but a mobile version is supposedly coming “soon.”
