Microsoft has promoted their Edge browser in YouTube spots before, but with the release of Edge on iOS and Android, the company is now taking their advertising machine for a new spin. Spotted by MSPoweruser, the latest Microsoft Edge advertisement is saying yes to cross-device PC to mobile syncing.
Unlike Super Bowl ads from this past Sunday, the Microsoft advertisement is very short, coming in at just 15 seconds in length. The company shows how a user can open a webpage in Edge on iOS or Android (sorry Windows 10 Mobile users), and then continue to read it on their Windows 10 PC. It’s part of how the Edge browser can allow users to “transition seamlessly from your PC to mobile in a flash,” per the YouTube description.
One touch syncing is just one of the many features of Microsoft Edge on iOS and Android. The mobile browser features a QR Code Reader, Reading List, voice search, and more. It has proven to be very popular on Android, coming in with over 1 million downloads. You can try the app for yourself and check it out via the link below.
