LG launches new monitors and a Windows 10 laptop ahead of CES 2016

CES 2016 is just around the corner and manufacturers are gearing up to introduce their new gear and technologies. Ahead of the Consumers Electronics Show, LG has introduced a new range of monitors and laptops which will be showcased at the big event next month. LG is set to showcase 21:9 UltraWide monitors, 4K gaming monitors and Ultra PC gram laptop designed for gamers and digital professionals.
“We are always thrilled to be able to show international audiences our newest monitor and PC innovations at CES,” said Jang Ik-hwan, head of the monitor and PC division at LG Electronics. “LG is always innovating to exceed customers’ expectations by creating products that provide breathtaking aesthetics and unparalleled user experience.”
Included in the list is the 34-inch 21:9 UltraWide Monitor (model 34UC98) featuring Thunderbolt 2 boasting a resolution of 3,440 by 1,440 pixels with IPS display technology. The manufacturer will also showcase other 4K powered UltraWide Monitors, utilizing AMD’s advanced FreeSync technology for seamless gaming and working experience.
LG will also showcase a 27-inch QHD display monitor which will come with USB Type-C port, and features the company’s “proprietary color-enhancing IPS display technology” to offer sharp display while performing a variety of tasks, whether its gaming or any other work.
Next up is the LG Gram 15, which comes with a 15.6-inch display but it’s “barely larger than a conventional 14-inch laptop.” The company touts it as the lightest 15-inch laptop weighing only 980 grams — this is extremely helpful especially for people whose involves a lot of travelling. As for the specifications, it will come with the latest 6th Generation Intel processors and Windows 10 pre-installed out of the box.
The Consumers Electronics Show is one of the biggest electronics exhibition which will kick off on January 4th in Las Vegas. Customers interested to give the new LG devices a test run can visit the company’s booth #8204 from January 6th to January 9th.
