Lost Hellden

Artisan Studio is set to release Lost Hellden, a new JPRG for multiple platforms, including PC, and Xbox, in 2025, and the trailer, which just dropped, showcases an exceptionally good-looking game with fun mechanics and a compelling story.

The game will be released on Xbox Series S, and X, PC (through Steam, GOG.com, and Epic), but it will also be available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo.

The best part? It’s developed by Artisan Studio, a game studio known for housing former Square Enix, and Final Fantasy veterans, so the expectations for Lost Hellden should be high, and rightfully so.

The game uses the Deep 2D technology, which will allow it to blend in 3D elements with drawn backgrounds, as you can see in the trailer, while all of it is patched by gorgeous effects, from weather effects to lighting effects, and so on.Lost Hellden

The gameplay looks quite fun, and engaging, turning the immersive exploration screen into a 3D over-the-shoulder combat mode that happens in real-time.

Gamers will be able to make the characters dodge attacks by moving them, while also having access to an array of techniques and spells to defeat the enemies.

The game looks gorgeous, and the way it blends naturally drawn backgrounds with 3D elements is a standout in itself. However, Artisan Studio promises a grand adventure game that will take the players all across the planet Era, a fantastical place where people are bound to one of the Seven Deadly Sins.

When a woman gives birth to twins, one being bound to all sins, while the other to none, something unprecedented on Era, the planet’s authority decides to lock them within the confines of the planet’s capital city. However, the twin bound to the seven sins manages to escape, so you’ll take the role of the other twin, who goes after his brother.

In a tale worthy of the best fantasy stories, Lost Hellden will surely become one of the studio’s hit games, and we’ve seen this happening with other recently JRPGs-inspired games, such as Sea of Stars.

If we take into consideration the fact that the game is being developed by former Final Fantasy veterans, one of the most prominent and successful fantasy franchises of all time, then the anticipation will surely be high.
