3 Llamas walking through the city at night with AI glasses

Meta could bring Llama 3 in July. However, there are many gen AI available. Yet, Llama 3 is going to be different from them. After all, Meta is trying to make it understand human concepts. Furthermore, they want to make it answer any questions with substantial responses regardless of the topic. On top of that, this model is just one more step towards developing Artificial General Intelligence.

Is Llama 3 going to be open source?

According to Mark Zuckerberg, Llama 3 will be open source. After all, he believes that everybody should be able to access AI. Furthermore, by allowing everyone to use it, Meta might discover new functions. In addition, the new AI model should be accessible on various builds.

Llama 3 should also revolutionize the way we interact with AI. Meta aims to create an AI assistant that allows us to ask questions freely without being limited by its safety protocols. Thus, this AI model might answer sensitive questions instead of giving generic I can’t help you with those answers.

Furthermore, Meta wants to make Llama 3 multi-modal, and they learned from Gemini’s errors. However, it will be challenging. On top of that, the company wants to go one step further and add advanced video and audio capabilities.

Zuckerberg plans to create artificial general intelligence (AGI). On top of that, he wants to make it accessible to everyone. After all, he talks about adding future versions of Llama to glasses. So, like this, AI can interact directly with the world around us and help us with daily tasks. For this, the company will invest a lot in AI, and by the end of the year, they expect to have more than 340,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs.

Ultimately, Meta is trying to allow Llama 3 to generate content regardless of the query. After all, it would be great if the AI could understand us more and filter our prompts less. Hopefully, Llama 3 will bring a new era for AI. Furthermore, we are looking forward to seeing future AGI models.
