Today, Microsoft released version .30 of the Azure Storage Python Client Library. The updated version of the app contains everything that the last version had, but with a few additions for good measure. The developers noted that the changes made were based on customer feedback, in order to keep the program “on par with our other libraries.” You can see the blog post announcing the new version of the app right here, but if you just want to see what’s new in this version, just take a look below:
- Append Blob support
- File service support
- Lazy Enumeration for listing APIs
- Account SAS support
- Table Batch refactors
- JSON Table formatting support
In the blog post that came out with this update, we were reminded that all of the work being done on Azure Storage Python Client Library is available for everybody to see on Github. The developers assured us that fully functional samples of the program are going to be “available soon” for people who want to be able to use the program in its intended form.
