Microsoft has gained another supporter in the customer relationship management (CRM) space, with the announcement of Apttus for Microsoft Dynamics CRM today.

Apttus is a leader in Quote-To-Cash solutions – software that automates the selling process – with products ranging from Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Contract Management to Revenue Management, and over 450,000 users worldwide. The software was first delivered on Salesforce’s App Cloud before becoming available for Microsoft service users. With its dominant position in the market, Apttus should make for a fine addition to Microsoft Dynamics CRM’s capabilities.

“Apttus pioneered the Quote-to-Cash category and introduced the world to end-to-end revenue operations in the cloud. Today, we’ve made our entire suite and newest breakthroughs available to Microsoft customers,” “These transformative tools give our customers unique advantages and allow them to focus exclusively on outcomes and increased revenues. We look forward to working hand-in-hand with Microsoft, as we have for many years, to bring these capabilities to new forward-thinking organizations.”

-Kirk Krappe, CEO of Apttus

With the availability, Microsoft customers will be able to access the whole portfolio of Apttus solutions, including the aforementioned software as well as other products like Quote-to-Cash Intelligence, Omni-channel E-Commerce and more. Apttus’ patent-pending X-Author service for turning Excel in to “a complete user interface for CRM” will also becoming to Microsoft Dynamics as well as Microsoft Pinpoint. To promote the new partnership, Apttus will be having a booth to showcase its technology live, as well as giving several talks in Microsoft’s ongoing Envision conference.
