Microsoft Edge ads

We all know Microsoft Edge does not shy away from pushing its ads to users whenever it has the chance, but according to some unfortunate souls, the browser is now plastering the screen up to three times a day. For some, this is highly frustrating.

On Reddit, users are complaining about how much of a bother Edge is becoming simply because of these ads.

Even though our editors agree that Edge is better than Chrome in many areas, Microsoft is forcing users to adopt it without realizing that it only makes Edge look bad. No one wants to install a browser just because a company juggernaut recommends it, and many people seem to agree.

Force uninstall it

Just get rid of Edge. As long as you continue to use it they’re going to push their products in the most annoying way they can find.

What can you do? For one, stop using Edge. But if you’re still using it and still getting ads, it might be worth changing your search engine from Bing to Google.

Are you getting plastered with recommendation ads in Microsoft Edge to make Bing or Edge your default browser? Let us know in the comments.
