Microsoft Edge will let go of the CryptoWallet capability

Microsoft Edge has released many updates to the Beta Channel, and with them, the browser sees the deprecation of some critical capabilities, such as CryptoWallet, while also improving existing ones.

The new update addresses everything from bug fixes to feature updates. For instance, some policies were adjusted to allow wildcards in URL patterns, which is a big deal if you’re into the nitty-gritty of browser security and customization.

The sidebar is turned off by default for new or inactive users, but don’t worry; you can quickly turn it back on in the settings if you miss it.

Feature updates are also a big part of the Edge experience. For example, the Edge Bar has seen some improvements, making it more accessible and user-friendly. And for those concerned about security, Microsoft Edge is stepping up its game by discontinuing support for CPUs that lack SSE3, ensuring that the browser runs on hardware capable of handling modern security standards.
