The Microsoft event in New York City revealed some big news coming for Windows 10 next spring. Aptly named the Creator’s Update, they focused a lot on discussing the future of 3D creation.

With a new app called the Windows Capture 3D Experience, users can take a 360 degree picture and watch it form before their eyes. Basically, you are scanning the 3D object in the real world by walking around it and transferring that information into the virtual world.

Furthermore, the tool will work wonderfully with the new Microsoft Paint 3D coming with the Creator’s Update as well. Now the community will be able to upload, download, and exchange 3D images from various sources even including Minecraft! More will be revealed throughout the event so stay tuned to WinBeta/OnMSFT to learn more.
