Brandon LeBlanc: Today we are launching a new blog called Extreme Windows. As you know (or don’t know) The Windows Blog is a network or family of blogs that together tell the company’s Windows story across different audiences spanning Windows, Windows Live, Internet Explorer and Windows Phone. Each individual blog has a distinct purpose and caters to a specific audience. For example the Windows Experience Blog focuses on the consumer audience – or the average PC user. Our goal for this blog, will cater to more advanced PC users – “power users” or what we call “enthusiasts”…

Radu Tyrsina has been a Windows fan ever since he got his first PC, a Pentium III (a monster at that time). For most of the kids of his age, the Internet was an amazing way to play and communicate with others, but he was deeply impressed by the flow of information and how easily you can find anything on the web. Prior to founding Windows Report, this particular curiosity about digital content enabled him to grow a number of sites that helped hundreds of millions reach faster the answer they're looking for.
