Microsoft is pushing its Bing It On search challenge to prove to users that Bing is indeed a better search engine than Google. This time, Microsoft is offering prizes at your local Microsoft Store if you participate in this challenge. One of the prizes includes a Windows 8 PC.

The idea is pretty simple. Visit your local Microsoft retail store and take the Bing It On challenge. Complete a blind side-by-side search comparison of five search results and pick which one you like the best. This Bing It On challenge is valid from September 6, 2012 to October 25, 2012. Microsoft is offering a big box of prizes, which includes the following:

  • Windows 8 PC
  • Xbox 360 with Kinect, Xbox LIVE – 12 month membership, Dance Central 2, Kinect Sports: Season 2 and Forza Motorsport 4
  • Windows Phone for the carrier of your choice (phone only)
  • Office Home and Business 2010
  • LifeCam Studio Webcam
  • Wireless N router
