Microsoft Office released a blog post today to announce that there’s a limited offer for SharePoint 2013 on-premises services to finally make the plunge over to Office 365. The offer allows IT administrators to make the switch without any additional cost until March 31, 2017.
The offer is being targeted for medium to large business team sites and my sites that have at least 150 licenses. It also comes with assistance from the Fast Track team to help migrate the services and build an executable plan to learn the new services on the cloud.
Data cannot exceed 10 TB per Office 365 tenant or 75% and above of the target site collection quota. If you’re looking for more information on how to get on the FastTrack to transferring SharePoint 2013 on-premises services to Office 365, Microsoft has shared a full FAQ about the offer and a full list of potentially migratable site content on their site.
