Copilot has become an essential point in Windows, and the AI model strives to be the element that sets Microsoft apart. To become just that, the Redmond-based tech giant has enhanced it with the o1 reasoning model, one of OpenAI’s best and most complex AIs out there.

And the best news is that Microsoft offers this enhancement for free to all Copilot users.

In a post to LinkedIn, Mustafa Suleyman, Microsoft’s AI chief, announced that the company has made Think Deeper, a capability released last year, free and available to all users.

Think Deeper uses OpenAI’s o1 reasoning model to allow Copilot to solve complex tasks, provide well-researched insight, and even teach you in-depth about specific topics and subjects.

o1 should now be available to all users of Copilot. Give it a try, and let us know your experience with it.
