Microsoft unveiled its Project Cortex Preview program back in November 2019. However, the Redmond giant was not accepting applications from the participants back then. In a follow-up step, Microsoft has now announced that the company has finally started to send invites for its Project Cortex Preview program though, but there is a catch. The invites are currently limited to a subset of applicants.
A blog post to the Microsoft Tech Community forums explains:
We’re opening a limited number of spaces for the next wave of our Project Cortex private preview program. Applications are open through April 8, 2020. We’ll notify selected participants by the end of April. Visit our preview program blog post to get more details on requirements and apply for the preview program.
Moreover, Microsoft confirmed that those applicants who have already applied don’t need to reapply. The Project Cortex team will “consider both existing and new applicants” during the selection process.
For those don’t know, with this new service, Project Cortex, Microsoft plans to help enterprises in organizing their corporate data. Notably, the service first leverages artificial intelligence to analyze valuable data within your organization’s documents. The data is then organized into topics and shared in Outlook, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams.
Do, you think that Project Cortex is going to be a useful addition in your organization’s workflow? Sound off in the comments section below.
