Microsoft has introduced a new Windows roadmap to enhance transparency and simplify the tracking of new features in Windows 11.
This roadmap is designed to address challenges faced by users and IT professionals in understanding the status of features being tested or rolled out.
It provides transparent information about features in testing, gradual rollout, and general availability. Users can filter features by release channels and device types, making it easier to find relevant updates. Plus, estimated feature release dates are included, helping organizations prepare for upcoming changes.
This is not the only roadmap Microsoft has employed over the years: for example, there is also the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, which features entries that describe future capabilities coming to the Microsoft 365 Suite.
For example, one recent entry to this roadmap unveiled that Microsoft is preparing to release enhancements for Microsoft Teams that give admins permission to manage AI agents.
