Just a week from the official public launch of the new Xbox One operating system, Microsoft is pushing out another update to those in the Preview Program for some last minute testing of the OS and features before it goes live. Microsoft’s Mike Ybarra has just tweeted that this new update will go out at 6pm PST to Preview Program members and it should be available for download through the usual method of simply checking for a system update (if the console doesn’t automatically detect an update by itself).

It’s unclear if any new features will be added with this build but due to it coming so soon before the public launch. It will most likely contain the refining of performance and squashing of bugs found in previous versions.
The new Xbox One experience will launch publically on November 12th and will bring with it backwards compatibility for over 100 Xbox 360 titles. The names of all of these Xbox 360 games will be revealed a few days before the system update and the functionality is made available.
