Back at the Microsoft Event in NYC, Microsoft made announcements in regards to the future of 3D creation on Windows 10. A little while after, (though still in an Alpha stage) some details emerged that 3D would also be heading to Windows 10 Mobile via the Paint 3D app. Now thanks to a tip from our reader Amir, we have discovered a new 3D Preview app which lets Windows 10 users see their 3D creations (via winphone.ir)
According to the Windows Store listing, with the View 3D Preview app, you can easily open and interact with 3D models on your PC and Windows 10 Mobile device. You also can use simple controls to see to see your 3MF, PLY, OBJ, FBX, and STL files from all angles. The listing also mentions that the app is available to Windows 10 Insiders who are on the preview of the Windows 10 Creators Update (Build 14800 or greater,) but after clicking the direct link we managed to get the app running on our standard non-insider Windows 10 Pro machine which is running Build 14393.447 Version 1607.
