As per Microsoft, Microsoft Security is gearing up for its presence at the highly anticipated Black Hat USA 2023 event, going to be held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, Nevada, from August 5 to 10.

What is Black Hat?

Black Hat is a globally acclaimed cybersecurity event series delivering advanced and pertinent information security research. These multi-day gatherings offer the security community access to cutting-edge research, developments, and trends, ensuring attendees stay abreast of the latest technical insights.

At booth 1740, attendees can connect with Microsoft security experts and explore the Microsoft Threat Intelligence Interactive Experience. Product demonstrations covering cloud security, threat protection products, and more will be available in the mini-theater. Visitors can also engage with Microsoft representatives to discuss their company’s security priorities and how Microsoft Security solutions can bolster defense against threats across all endpoints and clouds.

Microsoft has scheduled an exciting series of sessions to share thought leadership and product innovations. Sessions include:

  • Discussions on automating threat hunting with MDTI.
  • Simplifying defense with Microsoft Sentinel.
  • Introducing the Microsoft Incident Response Retainer.

The mini-theater will also feature presentations by members of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), a collective of cybersecurity experts committed to enhancing customer security.

A highlight of the event is an exclusive customer happy hour on August 9 at Lupo by Wolfgang Puck, co-hosted by Kelly Bissell and Aanchal Gupta, Corporate Vice Presidents at Microsoft Security.

Throughout Black Hat USA, Microsoft Security will conduct sessions on various topics, including AI in defense, AI Risk Policy, and tackling vulnerabilities affecting millions of industrial devices. The company will also celebrate the security community and its close partnerships with researchers in an invite-only Microsoft Researcher Celebration.

Additionally, Microsoft demonstrates its commitment to driving positive change by sponsoring the Cybersecurity Woman of the Year Awards Gala and participating in SquadCon, a reimagined cybersecurity conference promoting inclusivity.

Security professionals and enthusiasts can look forward to an information-packed week of knowledge sharing, networking, and celebrating the diverse community of security experts at Black Hat USA 2023.
