Microsoft

The extent of Nadella’s recent ‘tough choices’ continue to reverberate around the tech sphere; it was nothing less than a Big Bang for the new CEO. And yet, the changes keep coming, with more managers now being shuffled around between different divisions.

In the latest move, as reported by ZD Net, David Treadwell, formerly Corporate Vice President in charge of Windows Engineering program management, is being moved to Microsoft’s Cloud and Enterprise group, though the role he will assume has not yet been disclosed. Harv Bhela, an Exchange veteran, will take his place. Jeff Teper is also to be given a new role, heading both OneDrive and SharePoint, which were recently unified.

Given that Treadwell and Bhela are Microsoft veterans of a considerable vintage, it is likely that their appointments are as safe hands, to help lead the company as it continues further towards an uncertain future. Expect more such moves as time goes by, and the waves of the ‘tough choices’ continue to flow.
