Microsoft is pushing hard on the hybrid PC and laptop market and consumers are constantly on the lookout for news about it latest newest releases. The product currently the target of a manhunt of sorts is the Microsoft Surface Studio. At first, Microsoft started taking pre-orders for the device with promises of shipping it sometime during the middle of December, but things haven’t gone according to plan.

It’s being reported that demand is so high that Microsoft was forced to push back the release date of its new computer and is now promising customers they will see a Microsoft Surface Studio release as early as 2017. The Surface Studio is expected in three different models and all three were affected by this change.

This situation could be interpreted in multiple ways, but none of them conclude with every party walking home happily. On one hand, you have Microsoft who can’t ship its new Surface device imid-December as originally intended. But, at the end of teh day, it can’t really complain about having too much business on your hands.

Customers, however, do not have any good news to fall back on and are left with a pre-order shipping late. It is worth mentioning these devices do not come cheap and considering the bar all three Surface Studio models raise in terms of price, they aren’t something most people buy casually. Most customers were probably hoping to grab one of the Surface Studio models just in time for Christmas.

The details of all three models are below:

Microsoft Surface Studio – MSRP $3,000
