Microsoft Teams is finally planning to add support for 2×2 gallery view on the web for video calls and meetings. The company expects to release this feature to the Teams Web client in February, allowing users to view up to 4 video-call participants during a meeting in the Edge or Chrome browser.

Microsoft is also working on letting Mac users include their computer’s sound when sharing their desktop or a window in a meeting. This means that the Teams desktop app will add the ability for users to share audio from their speakers with other meeting participants to make their meetings a bit more interactive.

Install driver

According to an entry in the company’s roadmap, the new capability is currently under development, and it will be generally available in early February 2021. Microsoft says that users will need to install an audio driver to enable this feature on their machines.
