Microsoft today noted that the company will publish its fiscal year 2018 second-quarter financial results after the close of the market on Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2018. As usual, this will be available on the on the Microsoft Investor Relations website. A live webcast of the conference call will also kick off at 2:30 p.m. Pacific Time.

During the call, you can expect to hear more from Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella and CFO Amy Hood about the monetary success of each of the divisions within Microsoft. Given how things have gone in the past, we expect for Azure and the cloud to once again make Microsoft big money, but it will be interesting to see more about Microsoft’s gaming and devices.

A year ago an analyst predicted that Microsoft stock prices will be at $80 by the end of 2017. At the time of writing, Microsoft is currently trading at $88, (which is way up from $62 a year ago) so investors are definitely confident in the company ahead of their earnings report. We will be here on Jan 31st and will break down each of the divisions and all data when it is released. Be sure to keep tuned for more in the weeks ahead.
