Microsoft rattled off a series of updates, redesigns, and custom chipset development during its October 2, 2019 event and in the melee of announcements, the company dropped its latest installment in the wearable productivity space. Alongside its over-the-ear Surface Headphones, Microsoft will be selling its newly unveiled Surface Earbuds later this year.

Sometime during the holiday season, customers can pick up the Surface Earbuds for $249.00 and for that price the earbuds claim to provide 24-hour battery life, support for any platform, 2 mics per earpiece, a multitude of gesture controls, and Office dictation and real-time captioning as the cherry on top.
