During Inspire 2022, Microsoft Viva expanded with a new Engage module designed to build community and connections. The module also featured Storyline and Stories, both integral parts of the platform, in place to help users express themselves and inform people more about themselves.

Microsoft has announced that the Storyline feature is now widely available across Teams, Outlook, Yammer, and Microsoft Viva. With this feature, communication is enhanced across your organization, in that both employers and employees get to share real-time updates and experiences.

To access the feature, admins will have to enable it by choosing the Manage storyline option either on Yammer.com or the Viva Engage app. Then, internal users will gain access to the feature, allowing them to see, react, and respond to others’ storyline posts. However, guest users will not have access to Storyline. As for the Stories feature, it is also set to reach public preview soon.
