Microsoft Wallet not working

Microsoft Wallet inside Microsoft Edge, is not working on Surface Pro X, and a handful of other devices, and for now Microsoft doesn’t have any fix for the issue. Several users have noted the Redmond-based tech giant that they can’t access Microsoft Wallet anymore when accessed from Surface Pro X, and other devices such as Pro 9, or Galaxy Book Go.

I can no longer access Microsoft Wallet on my Surface Pro X. Every time I select Wallet, Password or Open Personal Info a new web page opens to this:

When trying to access Microsoft Wallet from these devices, users are welcomed with this page:Microsoft Wallet not working

The issue has been around for days, as users started noticing Microsoft Wallet wouldn’t work, last week.

Recently, I’ve tried to get into the wallet feature on my Bing account to see my passwords, but every time I do, it comes up with the error message below. I’ve tried everything it’s said to do, refresh the page, go to another tab, and come back later, I’ve even restarted the computer via the windows button, clicking the power, then hitting restart, and it doesn’t work. I’ve also had the problem since last week or the week before last week. If it helps any, the type of computer I’m on is a Galaxy Book Go, Windows 11 Home.

Unfortunately, there is no fix for this issue, but users have been reporting it to Microsoft. The Redmond-based tech giant has yet to respond to the issue.

It’s not clear what exactly is causing this problem. Microsoft Wallet can be set up in Microsoft Edge, and it’s dependent on the browser’s functionalities to work. Many users believe the latest updates to Edge are causing the issue, probably the ARM Edge build.

I have the same issue on a Surface Pro X as well. It’s probably the ARM build of Edge that’s at fault, as someone else is reporting the same issue on a Galaxy Book Go.

Until Microsoft comes up with a solution, though, there are a few options. Users can choose to set up and use Microsoft Wallet on other devices, as Edge on Android devices is not affected by it.

Alternatively, users can wait for Microsoft to fix the issue.
