While Microsoft may not be the flashiest during keynotes as it presents the perks of using its digital assistant, the company has been toiling away at making it more interconnected with a growing list of products users already own.

Recently, a tipster over at Windows Central stumbled upon additions to the Cortana Notebook that now include Connected Home integrations which finally support Hue Lights and the Nest thermostat among many others.

With this new addition, users can now assign management of services such as Wink, Insteon, Nest, SmartThings, and Hueto be done through Cortana voice commands.

Perhaps, this new Connect Home leak is paving the way for the official release of the Harman Kardon Cortana powered smart speaker, which would ideal an ideal setup for any home or business office.

As Google, Apple and Amazon introduced new and updated hardware initiatives that look to leverage their own digital assistants, it’s becoming imperative that Microsoft seek as many partner integrations it can to keep pace.
