Microsoft is looking to revolutionize the classroom experience with a service called Office Mix. Office Mix is an excellent tool for schools, allowing instructors to distribute presentations to all their students via the web. Instructors can check student progress online and see who actually watched the presentation.
Microsoft has improved Office Mix with several new features, revealed to WinBeta today. For example, Microsoft now adds easy contest integration into your Mix Details. What exactly does this mean? Well, now you can easily submit your mixes with the click of a button to whatever contest is taking place — in this case, the current contest is the Lessons to Life contest, which students can win up to 15 Surface Pro 3 devices for their favorite school.
Other improvements to Office Mix include the ability to export analytics to Excel. Simply log into OfficeMix.com, open up My Mixes and head to Uploaded Mixes. You can then choose the mix you want to analyze and download the analytics as an Excel file.
If you feel like sharing your mixes to Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, or Google+, you can do just that. Just click Share and choose your desired destination. If you want to embed your mix, just hit the embed function!
For those of you who have yet to try out Office Mix, we highly recommend you do so. Head over here to check out Office Mix.
