Your Phone app updated for Windows 11

Well, it looks like there will be a lot more updates as Microsoft has yet again teased users of an updated look for Your phone app.

Your Phone app joins the list of many apps updated. Microsoft has updated a number of apps recently, such as the Snipping Tool, Photos app, among others.

Early teaser

Users were treated to a brief teaser of the app during the Surface hardware event. Your Phone app allows you to connect to your PC. It displays notifications, can make calls, and also mirror applications from compatible devices.

New updates

The new updates include a change in the notification panel. The notification has been brought to the left.

The messages, photos, and apps can now be found at the top. The new design is supposed to make navigation easier for users.

With the rearranging, you can now mute and pin conversations. They can also switch between Messages, calls, photos, and apps.

Made for Windows 11

If you have been keeping up with Microsoft’s recent updates, you will realize the design is made to fit with Windows 11, which is a few days away from release.

The app will probably be available as soon as Windows 11 is released, so we are curious to see how users receive it.
