minecraft realms plus update

Minecraft went through various changes over the years, which made it one of the most played games ever.

Recently, Minecraft Realms Plus was updated with some new features, so let’s check and see what’s new.

Minecraft Realms Plus gets extra render distance, a social hub, and more

In case you didn’t know, Minecraft has a service hosting subscription service called Realms Plus. The service lets you play with 10 friends and offers three permanent world slots, cross-play support, and over 150+ pieces of Marketplace Pass content.

Minecraft Realms Plus got a big update as Neowin writes, and an array of new features. The first new feature is Realms Stories which you can use to share updates or screenshots with members of the server.

The Realm Stories will also get updated with Realm Event news if a player achieves a certain adventuring milestone.

Members Tab is also available allowing you to manage members of the server and see who’s online at any moment.

If you’re planning to organize gameplay sessions, you can also check out the Timeline Tab and see when your players are usually online to coordinate better.

We also have to mention that the Realms render distance has been increased by eight extra chunks allowing you to have 20 chunks render distance in total.

Lastly, you’ll also get Character Creatior items that you can claim and keep every month. For in-depth information, be sure to visit the Minecraft blog post.

In other news, Minecraft has dropped support for 32-bit operating systems, and we might even see a PS5 version of Minecraft in the future.
