The American wearable technology company Misfit has released two new apps, Misfit Link and Misfit Home, to work with their devices (via Windows Central). Misfit Link connects with the company’s wearable devices including Misfit Shine 2, Flash and Flash Link, allowing users to take control of their devices and perform various functions such as the ability to take selfies with phone’s camera app, control music, manage presentation slides and much more. In fact, users can even make use of Microsoft’s digital assistant Cortana to switch between modes using voice recognition.
Misfit link app description reads:
Misfit Link is a new software experience that makes your wearable an even more powerful tool to control and connect with the world around you. The Misfit Link app lets you use any Misfit Shine 2, Flash or Flash Link to take a selfie with your phone camera app; control your music; advance slides in a presentation and much more. Use Cortana to switch between different modes using just your voice.
