After launching in preview on the Xbox One in December, media center app Kodi disappeared from the Xbox Store last week. At the time, the developer said that it was working on the problem with Microsoft, and we’re happy to report that the app is now back to the store, with some bug fixes along the way.
Due to some Windows Store issues out of our control the @Xbox version was briefly gone. However it's now back including a first batch of fixes and is now available as automatic update. https://t.co/8LpsaWCWOw pic.twitter.com/1PkMXxTU2v

Despite the limitations of Microsoft’s UWP platform, Kodi has the potential to become one of the best media apps available on the Xbox One. “We cannot promise to what extend we can get every feature working as it all depends on what is available to us developers,” a previous blog post noted. You can download Kodi on your Xbox One with the download link below, be aware that you’ll need to provide your own content from a local or remote storage location to make good use of it.
