Mozilla Monitor Plus

With various online attacks, your data will get stolen eventually. Simply put, many organizations get hacked and sometimes user data is exposed.

To help you regain your data, Mozilla launched a new service called Mozilla Monitor Plus, so let’s see what it can do.

Regain your solen data with Mozilla Monitor Plus

Mozilla has just announced Monitor Plus, a new paid service that will help you stop the selling of your data.

When you start the service, you’ll be asked to enter your personal information, and you’ll get one free scan. Keep in mind that this service is available only in the US at the time being.

After the scan is finished, you should be able to see all the breaches that had your data exposed as well as the list of brokers that are selling it. You can even check the information that the brokers are selling.

With the Monitor Plus subscription, Mozilla will contact data brokers and send them the request to remove your collected data.

Of course, you’ll also get tips and suggestions on how to deal with currently exposed data for each breach free of charge.

Regarding the subscription, you can get a monthly subscription for $13.99 per month, or a yearly subscription for $8.99 a month.

Overall, this sounds like a great service if you’re in the US, but even if you’re not, you can benefit from the free options that the service offers, so go ahead and give it a try.

And if you think that security breaches aren’t a concern for regular users, you should catch up on a recent Midnight Blizzard security breach that targeted Microsoft to learn more.
