The pre-orders for the modern remake/reboot of Doom have just gone live in the Xbox Store ahead of its May 13th release date and there are some genuinely good bonuses for those who want to pre-order their copy as soon as possible.
In addition to the main game, pre-orders will also come with the Demon Multiplayer Pack which includes the special Demon-themed armor set with three skin variations, six Hack Modules, six exclusive metallic paint colors, and three id logo patterns that can be used to customize weapons and armor.
The real incentive to pre-order Doom though is the digital copies of the original Doom I and Doom II, both of which can also be played on Xbox One. Within seven to ten days of pre-ordering, special download codes for Doom I and Doom II will be sent to the buyer’s Xbox message center and will have to be manually redeemed. These code giveaways are stated to be only for a limited time and no end date has been given. Those interested in getting free copies of Doom I and Doom II should probably pre-order Doom as soon as possible just to be on the safe side.
