This year, PC Gamer will hold its fifth PC Gaming Show at E3 on June 10, just a day after Microsoft’s E3 press briefing. The event will be broadcasted live from The Mayan Theater in Los Angeles, and this year’s lineup will be led by Epic Games, which according to the press release will “reveal brand new material for several games, including some exclusives, coming to the Epic Games store.”

Epic Games made headlines this year following the launch of its new Epic Games Store in December. If Valve’s Steam remains the leading digital video games storefront thanks to its massive collection of Windows, Mac and Linux games, Epic Games is willing to attract game developers by offering them a 12% revenue split, which is much more favorable than Steam’s standard 30%.

In recent months, Epic Games also managed to conclude some valuable timed-exclusivity deals for high-profile games such as Metro: Exodus or the upcoming Borderlands 3, with the latter expected to be one of the biggest games to launch this year. Earlier this month, the company behind the massively popular Fortnight game also announced the acquisition of Psyonix, the developer of the vehicular soccer video game Rocket League. The game is expected to launch on the Epic Games Store before the end of the year, but Psyonix said that the Steam version will continue to be supported.

It’s unclear what are the new game announcements Epic Games plans to reveal at the PC Game show, but the event will feature many other game studios including Chucklefish (Wargroove), Funcom (Conan Exiles), Paradox Interactive (Cities: Skyline), and more. “This year’s livestream will present more announcements and new trailers than any previous PC Gaming Show,” says PC Gamer Global Editor-in-Chief Evan Lahti. “From brilliant indies to studios that have shaped PC gaming for decades, we’re excited to showcase what’s next for the world’s most vibrant gaming platform.”

The PC Gaming Show will be broadcoasted live on June 10 at 10 AM PT, and you’ll be able to watch it on Twitch, Mixer or YouTube. PC gaming has become more interesting than ever thanks to the competition between digital storefronts, as well as the rise of subscription services such as Origin Access Premier, Discord Nitro, and Microsoft’s own Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud offerings. E3 2019 is now less than a month away, and the event should be pretty special this year with Microsoft promising to “go big” and Sony skipping the annual trade show entirely.
