Yesterday, Microsoft released Windows 10 build 16288 to the PCs of Fast Ring Insiders across the world. Unfortunately, things did not go as planned, and the Windows Insider team later followed up on Twitter to reveal that there was an issue where some Insiders were unable to download the build.

It was not shared exactly what was causing the issue, but the Windows Insider team provided an update late last night, telling Insiders that a fix has been deployed, and each variant of the build will go live as it finishes publishing. An initial 2 hour time period was given for the build to become available after the fix was deployed, but as of this morning, some Insiders have still not received the build.

So, did you receive build 16288? Or are you still seeing an error code? Did you try anything complex or registry changes to see if the build would download to your PC? Check out this week’s poll and let us know.

Dona Sarkar has said that Insiders should wait until the end of the day today for the fix to update the issue, so if you’re not able to download or install the build now, you might be able to soon. Be sure to vote in the poll above, and let us know your thoughts on this situation in the comments below.
