Quantum Break
The previously rumored delay of Quantum Break for the Xbox One has been officially confirmed. Microsoft Studios broke the news that the time stopping action thriller will be released in 2016. Microsoft said “With so many games launching this year, moving Quantum Break to 2016 extends our incredible portfolio into next year…” The Xbox One does have an impressive lineup of games coming out including Halo 5 and Forza Motorsport 6 but Quantum Break has been talked about for years, so not being released until next year can be seen as a setback.
This isn’t all that surprising considering there was a rumor out just a few weeks ago. What’s frustrating is that a game that looks to have promise is delayed, with not even an official release date in hand. It’s been teased an talked about since 2013 and Remedy Studios, the game’s maker, released a video explaining the game’s concept and showing some game footage.

Quantum Break is unique because the gameplay centers on you being the hero but intertwined with the game is a television show focusing on the villains. The game footage looks nice and the game idea looks promising but the delays have to be frustrating for gamers.
