Proton Drive is a private could storage service, and although it’s not as popular as other services, it still has thousands of users worldwide.

The team behind this service has released a new update for the Android version of Proton Drive, so let’s see what it offers.

The latest version of Proton Drive for Android lets you easily find your PC files

This is a minor update, but it will allow users to easily access files and folders that are synced from Windows.

The Android app now has a Computers tab at the bottom and by tapping it you can easily see all your PCs that are synced with Proton Drive.

This allows you to find files that are synced from a specific device with ease. This is an incredibly useful change, and while most are thrilled by this improvement, the Reddit community had to voice their concerns.

Great news!

Now full speed for iOS! No update for 7 months …

Many aren’t happy that this is an Android-only feature, but hopefully, the Proton team will update the iOS version soon.

The announcement also doesn’t mention anything regarding Linux, but according to the comments, it seems that it might take up to two years to see this feature on other platforms.

12-24 months – was part of an interview on YouTube with Andy Yen (Proton CEO)

Overall, this is a great feature that will make file management easier, and we hope that the Proton team will release it on other platforms soon.
