Today during the Inside Xbox webcast, Microsoft announced that Gears of War 2, Portal 2, Darksiders, Red Dead Redemption, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Sonic Generations (just added to the Backward Compatibility List) are now enhanced for the Xbox One X. These six titles are now designed to take advantage of the most powerful Xbox console ever released, and should now include amazing detail, higher performance, and steadier framerates.

The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, Forza Horizon, Fable Anniversary and Crackdown were the last Xbox 360 titles to get the Xbox One X Enhanced treatment. The titles joining today are also some all-time favorite titles, so many gamers are likely to enjoy them in new beauty on their Xbox One X systems. “They all look unbelievable, Red Dead looks amazing, and Sonic Generations really pops,” said Bill Stillwell from the Xbox Back Compatability Team during today’s webcast.
