From Donald Trump’s freshest Tweetstorms or the latest national and international news, there are always plenty of hot topics to catch up with on any given day. Luckily, Microsoft has made it easier for you to stay in the know with today’s trending topics thanks to the Scoop bot on Skype.

The Scoop boot is powered by MSN and is a part of Microsoft’s commitment to adding innovative and helpful bots to Skype. It can easily be accessed today by finding it under the Bot directory, or it may just show up for you in Skype, as it did here. Once you find it under the bot directory, you can select it and press “Get Started” to begin.

Scoop will gather up the most relevant summaries and links to the top news articles. Be it politics, sports, or pop culture, you can enter in your favorite topic into the chat box, and Scoop will bring you the top articles from MSN for those topics.

In the morning and afternoon, Scoop will even provide you with briefings on the day’s topics. And, for further customization, you can type the topic you’re interested in, and click “Subscribe.” Then, for extra fun, you can add Scoop to a group chat by typing out @Scoop, and then your topic of interest.

Have you ever used Skype Bots before? Do you think you will try our Scoop so you can stay in the know on the news? Let us know your thoughts below!
