Sea of Thieves, the upcoming pirate game from UK-based studio Rare will have another technical alpha play session on Xbox One this weekend. The developer sent email invitations to members of the Insider Programme last night, and this time 8.000 new players will be invited to join the fun.

Sea of Thieves is being developed for both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs and will support Xbox Play Anywhere, but be aware that this new alpha play session will be for console players only. “We’ll have a PC Update for Insiders soon,” explained Rare in another tweet.

If you have not been invited for the Technical Alpha this time, you will still have a chance to try the game in future play sessions: just make sure to join the Sea of Thieves Insider Programme on the game’s official website.
