When Microsoft revealed the Surface Laptop and Windows 10 S, Spotify was also announced alongside them. And now, you can get try the app out now straight from the Windows Store. While the app is no different than the Windows PC version, you will get a new tile and easier install, uninstall and upgrade processes.

With Spotify, you can play your favorite songs and albums free on Windows 10. You are able to stream your favorite tracks instantly, browse the charts and also fire up readymade playlists in every genre and mood. You will also be able to discover new music with amazing playlists built especially for you.

Free version of Spotify

You can play any song, artist, album or playlist instantly and browse hundreds of readymade playlists. You can also enjoy podcasts, videos, and audiobooks and you’ll be able to discover more music with personalized playlists. You can stream Radio and stay on top of the Charts.

Premium version

With the paid tier, you can download tunes and play them offline, all without ads. Plus, you’ll enjoy even better sound quality. Try the Premium version for free for 30 days without any strings attached. The app is compatible with PCs running Windows 10 and the fact that Spotify is in the Windows Store means that Surface Laptop owners still running Windows 10 S will be able to download and install the app.

Microsoft’s Windows 10 S is only compatible with apps from the Windows Store.
