Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the latest EA and Respawn Entertainment game title optimized for Microsoft’s new Xbox Series X|S consoles. This optimization update improves Xbox’s Backward Compatibility, increased framerate, and improved dynamic resolution range. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order launched back in November 15, 2019 on Xbox One and other console platforms. Both the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S get a better framerate of 60 FPS (up from 45 FPS). However, the Xbox Series S only gets the framerate boost. The Xbox Series X benefits the most from the Jedi Fallen order game optimization update as seen below.

Xbox Series X Performance mode

Framerate has been increased to 60 FPS
Dynamic resolution added in the range of 1080p to 1440p

Xbox Series X Normal mode (non-performance mode)

Postprocessing has been increased to 4K
Dynamic resolution in the range of 1512p to 2160p

The EA Play library is currently available free as part of an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription, and provides access to over 80 EA games including FIFA 20, Titanfall 2, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, as well as some of EA’s most popular franchises including Battlefield, Mass Effect, and more. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a great value for just $14.99/month, and new subscribers can still get their first month of subscription for just $1.
