Starfield Shattered Space

Microsoft announced the launch date for the first Starfield expansion, Shattered Space, at the Gamescom Opening Night Live showcase. The game’s first major expansion will be released on September 30.

As an early gift to all Starfield lovers, the Redmond-based tech giant also rolled out a free update introducing a fantastic new land vehicle for players to zoom around. This expansion and update are available across PC and Xbox consoles.

Starfield: Shattered Space promises to be an enthralling standalone experience, taking players to the mysterious home planet of House Va’ruun. This faction, known for its dangerous reputation and violent history, becomes the centre of an intriguing storyline as players follow a distress signal to uncover secrets and decide the future of House Va’ruun. It’s a narrative with potential, offering a deeper dive into the game’s lore.

The free update brings the REV-8 land vehicle into the mix, adding style and speed to planetary exploration. It’s equipped with a mounted turret, armour, boosters, and even a seat for Vasco, ensuring you’re well-prepared for whatever the planets throw at you. To experience it, visit a shop technician and purchase a vehicle module for your spaceship.

The update doesn’t stop at the vehicle; it includes performance and stability improvements, UI fixes, and gameplay adjustments to enhance the overall experience. Whether dealing with weapon reloading or navigating through the game’s menus, these tweaks aim to smooth out rough edges, ensuring a more enjoyable journey through the stars.

The good news is that these updates are already available for PC and Xbox Series X|S systems, including Game Pass subscribers.
