superlist is here

When Microsoft acquired and later replaced Wunderlist with Microsoft To-Do in 2020, many of the 16 million who used the app (in its lifetime) were unhappy. But there’s good news for you all!

Wunderlist’s co-founder, Christian Reber, along with a team that initially worked on the app, developed its unofficial successor, Superlist, which is now available for Web, Mac, iOS, and Android. Funnily, it’s not available on the Microsoft Store or for Windows at present.

In essence, Wunderlist was a simple to-do app that allowed you to create tasks, manage them, and access them across platforms. The primary reason it was a big hit was the wide array of captivating backgrounds.

What’s new in Superlist?

The team started developing the app in 2021, and after extensive testing in the Beta stage, Superlist is now available to download for Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Android users.

Superlist is meant both for personal and professional use, and can be easily employed in organizations with hundreds of members. The interface and usability, though not as seamless as Wunderlist, according to some, make more sense, given the scalable nature of the app.

Superlist offers everything, be it creating a list of tasks, organizing them, attaching files, adding notes, or the AI integration, and yet manages to find the perfect blend between personal and professional use.

Connecting it to the other accounts will help you prioritize things and never miss out on important tasks. But lack of integration for Microsoft 365 may be a problem, at least for a few.

Superlist is offering both free and a paid Pro subscription (priced at $8 per user/month). According to the team, the free plan should work out fine for most, especially those using Superlist for personal tasks. With the Pro subscription, you get your hands on a lot of exciting features, including enhanced integration.

For more information about Superlist, you can visit the project’s official website or download the app from Apple’s App Store or Google’s Play Store.

Remember, Superlist is still new and a lot more will added to it in the coming days. Wunderlist fans surely have their hopes up with the app’s reincarnation.

But based on the initial feedback, Superlist has some sign-in problems. For a few, the app’s UI didn’t load after download. So, the team must address these issues for Superlist to reach where Wunderlist once stood!

If you have already tried Superlist, share your feedback in the comments section.
