Telegram Desktop gets Picture-in-Picture support and more in latest update on Windows 10 PCs

Telegram is continuing to support its Windows 10 desktop app with fairly significant updates. The latest update for the private communication app has added support for Windows 10’s Picture-in-Picture (via Win Central), allowing you to view video while viewing other windows in Windows 10, as well as a few other changes and additions, as noted in the changelog for version 1.1.7:

  • Improved video messages: radial playback progress, Picture-in-Picture support, duration countdown.
  • Voice and video messages now automatically play one after another.

This update is available now in the Windows Store for Windows 10 PCs.
