Tomb Raider: Underworld heads to the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility

On Twitter today Major Nelson announced that Tomb Raider: Underworld is heading to the Xbox One via Backward Compatibility. The news comes as the Xbox One Backward Compatibility list topped 400 titles with the addition of Raiden IV, Red Faction: Armageddon, and Gyruss. Designed specifically to take advantage of the latest technologies Tomb Raider Underworld represents a new advancement in exploration-based gameplay. As fearless adventurer Lara Croft explore exotic locations around the world, each designed with an incredible attention to detail resulting in breathtaking high-definition visual fidelity that creates a truly believable world and delivers a new level of challenge and choice.

As an extra bonus, several Tomb Raider: Underworld DLC have now gone free in the Xbox Store, including the Tomb Raider: Underworld Designer Costume Pack, Tomb Raider: Underworld Wetsuit Costume Pack, and Tomb Raider: Underworld Classic Costumes.

If you already own the digital version of this game,  it will automatically show up in the “Ready to Install” section on your Xbox One. And, if you own a disc version, you can insert the disc into your console, and your Xbox will begin downloading the game to your hard drive, though you will still need the disc to play.
