It isn’t just Microsoft that is excited about Windows 10, and dependent on its success.
Pressured by falling sales across the globe, PC manufacturers have placed their hopes on Microsoft’s new operating system to help reinvigorate their fortunes once more. And some are going further than others, with Toshiba today announcing a new lineup of PCs designed specifically for Windows 10.
The first, and certainly most unique, feature of these new machines has already been widely discussed, including by us. That is the dedicated ‘Cortana’ key that will be placed on the keyboards of Toshiba’s new devices, allowing for quick access to the virtual assistant.
The changes do not end there however; across all new machines announced there are two constants. Of these, the first is a bevy of new screen options, from Full HD all the way up to 4K, taking advantage of the improvements that Microsoft has made for running Windows on high-definition displays.
Toshiba has also placed a special emphasis on quality audio, working with the likes of DTS to achieve richer tones than competitors. The Satellite S, Satellite Radius, Satellite Fusion, Satellite C and Satellite L series have all been profiled in detail by Microsoft, and promise to be quite tempting upon arrival.
